In The News

Most of today’s environmental health news like every other day is pretty depressing and appears like nobody will do anything about it except complain. Well today EPA has finally decided to investigate and do a study on the Hydraulic fracturing that has been contaminating the water supplies near natural gas drilling sites for nearly the past 20 years. Getting Started

I highly doubt any one will read this but I woke up today and felt like writing something. I graduated from University this past May and will be attending grad school in the fall. This is the first summer I’ve had off since high school; which feels extremely weird and unproductive. With that in mind I guess that’s partly why I decided to write, also I gulped down one of Starbucks Grande mocha Frappuccino’s this morning which gave me this huge burst of energy. It’s not like I am sitting around on the couch watching T.V. all day; I have applied for jobs and volunteer positions as well as scholarships for the fall, but things just seem to be stagnant until last Tuesday.
I finally got a job after applying to 64 possible positions that range from working at Wal-Mart as a cashier to a Lab tech at Moffit. As you can see I am basically looking to just make money. The job that I charmed my way into is at a really good company working in their environmental, safety and health department; I just hope I can live up to their high expectations.
Maybe writing this will help me improve my grammar skills, the void of boredom and inform a few about my life and environmental news or maybe it’s just a pointless waste of time.
